Extra Grapefruit jam
The grapefruit we use for jam is from Vientiane and LuangPrabang provinces where it grows naturally within village gardens. Thisgrapefruit variety has not traditionally been sold in Laos due to its bitternessand acidity, however it was identified as ideally suited to marmalade during avisit by the president of Artisans du Monde in 1997 who strongly recommendedtheir use. They are harvested in September and October.
Our marmalade is made with 50g of grapefruit per 100g of jam.
