Lemon used to prepare marmalade is grown naturally on theMekong islands of southern Laos, Champasakprovince - Namloy Don, Don Deng, SanhDon and Don Xay.These islands are well known as the ‘lemon islands’. Seasonal floodingprovides nutrient rich sediment to support lemon cultivation.
